Understanding and Designing Globally

Patients' interaction with caregivers and the products they use can differ in many ways.

Several of these differences are due to patient illness, personality, socioeconomic class or education, but the most profound diversity can me attributed to Global Healthcare Cultural differences. The geographic location and/or cultural patient/clinician customs weigh greatly on the design implementation and protocols developed for a particular medical device.

Utilizing the DevelopmentDNA™ process, MIDI compiles knowledge, experience, and research of cultural customs and healthcare clinician /patient traditions to quantify, qualify, and design for varying global workflows, environments, treatment protocols as well as caregiver and patient interaction. MIDI has conducted 1,000's of hours of research in the Healthcare and Life Science industry in varying environments and cultures around the globe.
